Bill Mohr
Bill Mohr was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He grew up Virginia, Hawaii, and San Diego. He moved to Los Angeles in 1968 and acted with several theater companies, including the Burbage Theater Ensemble. He was the Editor of Bachy for its first two issues and edited Momentum 1974–1978, when he stopped publishing it in order to concentrate on book publishing. Momentum Press has published almost two dozen books by 18 poets. Mohr has worked as a blueprint machine operator, a medical eligibility worker, a bookstore clerk, and a typesetter. He has also worked in the Poets in the Schools program in southern California.
