Stanley Josephs
Stan Josephs began writing poetry and short fiction in 1991. He also served on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and worked tirelessly for the arts. As a surgeon, he became one of the top diagnosticians in his field. In September 1998 he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, and passed away on June 4, 1999. His poems have been published in various literary journals and magazines. At the time of his death, he was working numerous short stories and a novel.
