Josh Grapes is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where he studied literature and writing, in addition to history, French and French literature, Spanish and Spanish-language literature, philosophy, and music. Despite the dabbling, his interest in writing is lifelong. He grew up in a library dressed up like a house. Conversations about writing and literature were a central fixture in my life, and remain so. He believes that the spoken, conversational voice is innately compelling, that voice creates character, and character creates plot. He strives to be not only an editor, but a support system for his clients. He is passionate about sentences and passionate about the work. He hopes to imbue everyone who works alongside him with that same passion and keep them writing even when the going gets tough.
